Creating Your 21st Century MasterMind

Professional MasterMind Purpose
This group serves as a referral, introduction and promotional system with opportunities to support and enhance the individuals involved as well as offering openings to establish and maintain relationships with people who may be stimulating and talented, and who, in return, can open up new ideas, contacts and opportunities for you.

MasterMinds must be cultivated, nurtured and created. They don't just happen. In the process of building your MasterMind, watch out for users and abusers — those people who tout their contacts and sources, promise you introductions, and, usually after you have delivered the goods a few times, they are too busy or forget to make "good." An easy way to spot these people is to pay particular attention to their behavior as opposed to listening to their words. In other words, if their behavior is not congruent with their words, "close the file" on them quickly and get on to finding the positive kinds of people known as Cornerstones.
